Alive, yes.  Lots of things to write, yup.  Better things to do than update this blog?  Yup ;)

 

Last three months in a nutshell:

 

Work work work.

 

No major Corvette initiatives other than changing the fuel filter, which admittedly is quite an adventure.  Got lots of cuts trying to remove the filter and then gas spilled into all the cuts.  Ouch. 'Vette radio still working well.

 

Getting little bits of work done here and there around the house, still tons to do.

 

Really, really need to practice my guitar more.  :(

 

Really, really, really need to get back to Descent stuff.  In the end, it's just hard to go home and spend a couple more hours on the computer when you've been developing all day long for a living.  :-s

 

Spent a week on vacation in Upper Michigan, not that actually went great.  For the first time in 3 years, I DID NOT RECEIVE A CALL FROM WORK.  Downright amazing.  Better yet wakeboarding went well (well, other than a really off-balance first couple of days), no hard face palnts this year.  Almost can pull off the wake-to-wake jump but (uggh) can't get any air because the wake behind the jetski is so small.  Nonetheless, had fun.

 

Ok, back to work on some stuff before I call it a night.  Going to be a fun week, have to get the Corvette all cleaned up for Road America this weekend, will be the first time I can park in the Corvette Corral instead of just taking pictues of the cars there, probably will visit our buddy Scott in Madison the weekend thereafter, and then the Corvette gets to go to Road America again in September for the Champ Car race.

 

The Champ Car race will actually be an experiements of sorts, I'm going to wear my Minardi F1 polo to see if Justin Wilson will recognize me with it on ;)
